あらまあ。 nearing the end of chapter 1. chapter 2 fast approaching!

thank you to all who voted on the focus character for the next chapter!! the one picked will be revealed soon~

@Asj: you always leave such detailed comments! I'm very grateful :) thanks for the feedback! I guess I need to post somewhere that it's R-to-L...keep meaning to do that >>; glad you like the falling-apart look. been experimenting with using backgrounds to create atmosphere ^^
@Asj & Cassie: thanks so much for all the advice about my pages/layout! I may in fact change the direction of the next/back arrows once the old Farewell Feeling finishes. in fact I might move those older pages to a different site entirely.

can she see Ellison from the window?
The text placement looks confusing at first, but I found it surprisingly easy to read from following the panel lines (...after realizing it's read from the right - I guess having the last panel on top confused me at first, but the first bubble made no sense that way, so I realized it quick).

Oh, and I also like the middle panel, and I thought the curtain pictures were neat (I think, especially the first one. I like how that looks to me, with the blowing and the cracks and holes. Kind'a like the idea falling apart, and her being lonely. maybe).

I think most of the time it's pretty intuitive with your panels. It's just how these three panels are arranged. But it could just be me.

Edit: (checks other pages of this version) Yep. Your other pages feel natural to read right to left. Except the top of 7, because her turning that way resists me.

direction Hello there! I found your manga by chance and i really love it :)

By the way, i also got confused by the direction of the text, and i think i know the reason behind it: Its the direction the next and previous buttons are placed. Usually you have the previous on the first position, which should be right on this manga, and the next on the second postion, so on the left. Seeing it the other way around automatically gives the reader the idea that its read left to right.

I read the old version and i just loved the character of grief :D a really well developed plot it is too <3 Thanks for making this!

she can't change the arrows because she's putting two comics together here, and the first one is read the other way. (that, and a lot of comics just don't change the direction of those arrows)
I just had trouble with this particular page because of the last panel being on top, and the direction of the panels resist a right-to-left movement for me for some reason.
